We had a little bit of a scare with the baby on Saturday morning when I noticed a little bit of bleeding. I called my OB's office and luckily my doctor was the one on call. She had us come in to check that everything was okay. We found the bleeding was due to a small infection, but all is well with the baby. And, it turned out to be all worth it because we got to have an ultrasound. It is such a crazy thing to me to get to see the baby move around inside. He/She "waved" at us, moving it's arms all around, and seeing the little heartbeat is just so amazing. Hopefully at the next one we'll be able to find out whether we should hold on to all of our pink things! Here's a picture of our little "alien":

Aww, I think he/she might look a little bit like me.
I know how scary that can be! I am SO glad that everything is okay! I'm happy that you got to see the baby. Extra ultrasounds are always great!
