Tomorrow
Hope was in an "Annie" acting camp last week with about 50 other kids. There were 5 or 6 girls that played Annie throughout their final "show" for parents. Hope was Annie in Scene 2 and got to sing a "Tomorrow" duet with the apple seller. I didn't have a great seat for video so the quality is not great and you'll probably have to turn it all the way up to hear anything - sorry!
In case you can't tell - Hope's the one in the big red wig. :)

Party Time!
We finally had Hope's birthday party last week. Since the end of the school year is always so crazy, we decided to wait until after school was out. She invited a few friends for a trip to the mall for some shopping and dinner and then a sleepover and swimming the next day! I somehow forgot to take swimming pictures. :(

First and Last
Yesterday was Hope's LAST day of 2nd Grade and FIRST softball game.
She had a great last day of school. The kids got to sign yearbooks and her teacher, Mrs. Wardlow, had a sweet little presentation at the end. She wrote a poem about their last two years together (she looped up from 1st grade with the class)and read it through tears. She also wrote an acrostic poem for each of the kids using their names. I think all of these words provide a great description of Hope!

With Mrs. Wardlow - We're going to miss her!
She also had her first softball game. She is playing "Coach Pitch" this year which is a VERY welcome change from the last 3 years of T-Ball. She had 4 great hits and did awesome at each of the positions she played - 1st base, 3rd base, and left field. Brandon is one of the coaches so they're really enjoying their time together!
